UNCLE is a UK residential rental company with properties from Wembley to Stockwell and Leeds to Manchester. But they pride themselves on not being your average landlords. 

So when we were briefed to create a brand film that captured their values we presented the idea of a comedy: a parody on what bad landlords are like, that could then be contrasted to what UNCLE offer. 

We wrote the satirical script in collaboration with comedy writers Lily Phillips and Andy Hui, and booked actor Tom Moutchi (Famalam, Gladiator, Pru to name a few!) to star as our "Bad Landlord" alongside Lily Philips who acts as the priest in the confessional Tom enters to confess his bad landlord sins.

Even though we were still mid-pandemic, we produced the film across several locations in the UNCLE Wembley building with a full crew, navigating through COVID tests, safety briefs, 
and many, many creative sessions. Oh, and a handful of puppies! 

Since then we have worked with UNCLE on creating films that capture testimonies from renters at each of their UK properties.
