Stephanie Sian Smith

Stephanie is a refreshing new voice in British photography. Her natural observational style captures the beauty of the everyday moment in a very organic yet ultramodern way.

After studying photography in Bristol she went on to The London College of Communication. Here she was inspired by other female photographers such as Deborah Turbeville and Nan Goldin. Stephanie’s provocative yet relaxed art-house aesthetic is explorative and exciting. Her wonderfully dreamy and mysterious filter of the world is intoxicatingly poetic. Her strong and vital female gaze embraces the idiosyncrasies of her subjects and the spontaneity of the moment; her genuine love of people and animals shines through her work, as does her vivacious energy and sense of adventure.
