Johanna Frances Macdonald is an Antipodean living in London, working at both Aēsop and with Female Narratives. She has a well-documented love affair with Paris, having spent most of her time travelling between there and her home in New Zealand. After exhausting visa options, she is now living in London, somewhat due to its close proximitiy to France.
With a B.A. in Art History and French, and a Postgraduate degree in Communications, her professional background includes curatorial work, editorial styling, social media, PR, and marketing. Influenced in life by her Eco-Mum, she is passionately invested in the idea of a fully sustainable fashion industry, and hopes to see an increase in the use of ethical clothing in the mainstream market.
If you were to ask her what she misses the most about being on the other side of the world, she would say Kiwi Marmite, being surrounded by ocean, and being able to say ‘togs’ instead of swimsuit.
