Carly M Smith 

Carly Smith is a New York based creative director, stylist and photographer working in the fashion industry. She's a regular contributor for SUITCASE Magazine's Global Young Designers column and has worked for numerous fashion companies including Moda Operandi, Proenza Schouler, Spring Studios and Sachin & Babi.

Her interests lie in the social, political, and cultural implications of fashion and the perception of global identities. She compliments her educational background at New York University by traveling internationally. After stints living in London and Paris, she is keen to continue her adventures elsewhere in the world. Havana, Istanbul and Cape Town are currently on her bucket list.

She finds inspiration in people and hopes to one day start her own company utilizing art as a means for cross-cultural communication.
