BUMBLE
Success Stories, BeeMindfull &
Find Them on Bumble Bizz
Our parnership with Bumble spans several projects and three years. We began with a content series called Bumble Success stories - capturing interviews with real couples that met on Bumble. After covering the UK twice, this then expanded to covering stories from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and India. We handled casting, locations, creative and full production across almost a dozen shoots that featured 20+ couples, creating content for their socials.
We then pitched, and won, the opportunity to create a short film for World Mental Health Day and BUMBLE's partnership with Happy Not Perfect. Our concept was a film that redefined failure by having 8 incredible women sharing their stories of "failure", then asking "what happened next?" where inevitably they shared how this gave them the opporutntiy to start again, or try something new, and lead them to where they are now. We then asked them to reflect and decide if they wanted to use a different word, instead of failure. They all chose new words. The campaign launched with the CTA on social media for others to share their words and we had 100+ posts from people sharing their re-definition of failure. Shot by director Sophie Russell with a full crew and featuring Joy Crookes, Chrissy Rutherford, Serena Guen, Chloe Macintosh, Ghizlan Guenez, Jada Sezer, Liz Matthews and Maxim Magnus - the film was picked up by various media outlets.
All the above culminated in our ultimate piece of truly collaborative work for Bumble: Find Them On Bumble Bizz, London. To launch the networking part of the app in the UK we took on the challenge of shooting 60 working Londoners across 3 studio days and making 5 films across 2 location days. It played on all our strengths as we handled casting, locations, creative and propduction on Bumble's biggest campaign outside of the UK (at the time). It was featured on buses, billboards and the largest digital banner: Waterloo station. We also hosted a launch party at the roof of the Ace Hotel and produced a full-size broadsheet newspaper, full of content.
